Eat the Crayon comes on every Friday at 5pm (central time) on 91.7 FM KTRU, Rice Radio, Houston, Texas.

During the summer and winter breaks, however, shows will only be occasional. Expect regular programming around mid-September, but stay tuned and check here for summer specials.

We feature stories and interviews about everything, from poetry to policy, from science to storytelling.

This blog will feature shows from the current season. For shows from the past two seasons, visit ktru.org/news.

Equality Ride

Meet Darren, a Rice student who is about to embark on the Equality Ride. The Equality Ride is a group of GLBT activists bringing traveling forums on faith and sexuality to religious universities. This week, Darren explains the Ride. Later, we will hear more from him as he creates a radio diary about the experience.
