Wiess Freshman One-Acts

On a big green campus, in a huge glass case, on a plain black stage, the Wiess residential college freshmen put on play after play to entertain and bedazzle. Just so you non-Rice listeners know, we have a system here kind of like Harry Potter where students are members of their dorms for all four years. Wiess College is one of those dorms.

Back from the Grave for Halloween: Rice Poetry

We invited three Rice poets/professors to read and discuss their own poetry.

This was aired in March 2008, and it’s one of my favorites that we’ve done, so I wanted to give it new life and resurrect it for Halloween. We’re thinking about doing some more shows like this soon. What do you think?
